Start from the car park by the Mining Museum (NZ712 193). If, for any reason, it isn't possible to park here, there is an alternative car park down by the sea front(NZ713 201).

From the Mining Museum, walk Northwards through a small park ,and then beside the Skinningrove beck, to Stone Row (almost by the harbour).
From here walk to the jetty that encloses the harbour.
A pleasant stroll along the jetty provides views back to Skinningrove.
From the jetty then walk along Cattersty beach, and back.
Return through Skinningrove to your start.
